India will travel to West Indies for 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the squads for red-ball matches and 50-over games. Sarfaraz Khan was not considered while Suryakumar Yadav failed to find a place in Test team

On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh was not included in the ODI squad. Former India player Aakash Chopra has questioned these two decisions.

Aakash doesn’t understand the deal with SKY, who played in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He was one of the reserve players for the World Test Championship final.

Chopra also questioned Arshdeep Singh’s absence.

“And what’s the deal with SKY’s intermittent selection for Tests…gets picked…gets dropped. Is he considered for the longest format or not? And why no Ars,” he wrote.
