Kangana Ranaut recently ventured into production with the release of her romantic-comedy film, Tiku Weds Sheru, featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur. With this successful debut, Kangana’s career seems to be on an unstoppable trajectory. Adding to her accomplishments, she is set to release her directorial venture, Emergency, in November of this year.
To announce the film’s release date, the teaser of Emergency was finally unveiled. The teaser introduces various characters in the movie, including the late Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman. In this film, Kangana Ranaut takes on the role of Indira Gandhi, India’s third Prime Minister.
The teaser offers a glimpse into one of the darkest periods in Indian history, the state of emergency declared by the Prime Minister, which plunged the country into chaos.
Sharing the teaser, Kangana wrote, “A protector or a Dictator? Witness the darkest phase of our history when the leader of our nation declared a war on it’s people.”
