Google has already released a bunch of beta builds of the upcoming Android 14 release, and other manufacturers joined in, but not Samsung. Or rather, not yet.
\n\nAccording to a new rumor on the matter, the Korean company plans on releasing the first beta build of One UI 6, its skin based on Android 14, in the third week of July.
\n\n\n \nThat would be a few weeks sooner than when the first One UI 5 beta appeared last year, which can only mean good things for the release timeline of the final, stable version later this year.
\n\nApparently Samsung was waiting for Google\'s betas to reach \"platform stability\" in order to start developing One UI 6 on top. That \"platform stability\" milestone was achieved with Android 14 Beta 3, which was released last week.
\n\nSamsung has already started updating its apps with One UI 6 support a few weeks ago. The One UI 6 beta will first reach the Galaxy S23 family, but will then gradually spread to other devices.
