Today Thalapathy Vijay’s new film, with director Venkat Prabhu has been announced. This is the 68th film for the actor, and the announcement has indeed left the fans elated. A few days back, Ajith’s new movie Vidya Muyarchi was also announced, which will be directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

The current buzz in the Tamil film circles is that both movies are aiming for Summer 2024 release, and there is a high chance for the films to clash at the box office. If at all the clash happens, then the box office will be on fire.

This Pongal, Vijay, and Ajith had a box office clash with their respective movies, Varisu and Thunivu. However, both movies did well at the box office, and it was a fruitful Pongal season. Thalapathy 68 will be bankrolled under the banner of AGS Entertainment, while Lyca Productions is backing Ajith’s Vidya Muyarchi.
