Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya opening numbers are disappointing

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya was released today amidst massive celebrations and fans’ euphoria. The film marks the first collaboration between director Bobby and Chiranjeevi and also features Ravi Teja in a vital role.

Despite such a great starcast and positive buzz around the release, Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya failed to match the magic created by Veera Simha Reddy on its day1. The effect of Balayya’s starter was also seen in the Chiru film as it did not exactly create a box-office storm through its early shows.

The film’s numbers are disappointing with respect to its pre-release buzz and it needs a major revival on the festival days which coincide with the weekend. The action entertainer also stars Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad and Prakash Raj in vital roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed tunes for this action entertainer and the songs released so far have been received well so far.
