    – Bookings for Pulsar 220 F have begun

The imminent re-launch of the popular Bajaj Pulsar 220 F has been making a lot of headlines lately. After it was discontinued last year, the bike has started arriving at showrooms once again and dealers have also started accepting bookings for the bike. Now, in the latest development, the price of the bike has leaked online ahead of its official launch.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F relaunch and pricing

The promotional social media creative of one of the Bajaj dealerships based in Durgapur, West Bengal has been doing rounds on the internet. As per this creative, the new prices of the Pulsar 220 F start from Rs 1,39,686 (ex-showroom). Notably, this is a marginal increment over the pricing of the bike before it was discontinued.

As we told you before, the Pulsar 220 F is being brought back due to its demand not fizzling out in certain regions of India like down South. Although it had been discontinued to make way for the new Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250, the somewhat bleak sales of these new-age Pulsars have encouraged Bajaj to bring back the 220 F. Notably, whether the bike will be available across India or in select regions is something not confirmed yet.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F design and features

Bajaj doesn’t seem to have executed any visual changes to the bike. And that’s reasonable considering it has been popular for this design ever since its inception. Hence, it retains a half-faired design with a huge front fascia, a muscular fuel tank, and a long tail with a split-type seat. Similarly, it is certainly the same on the feature front as well. The package includes an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, semi-digital console, and a 15-litre fuel tank.

The engine and hardware package of the Pulsar 220 F is also perhaps the same as before. Powering the bike is a 220cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Suspended on telescopic forks up front and old-school dual springs at the rear, the Pulsar 220 F rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Bringing this 160kg machine to a halt is a single disc at both ends accompanied by a single-channel ABS setup.
