The 2023 Golden Globe nominations were announced Monday morning, after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2022 award show was dropped by NBC and boycotted by many celebrities at the start of this year. After being plagued by scandals over the HFPA’s lack of diversity and questionable business practices, the award show is back in person, though it lost its prime Sunday night slot and will instead air on Tuesday, Jan. 10, on NBC and Peacock.

The top films in the drama race are “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Elvis,” “The Fabelmans,” “Tár” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” Leading the way for best musical or comedy are “Babylon,” “The Banshees of Inisherin,” “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Triangle of Sadness” and “Glass Onion.”

Mayan Lopez and Selenis Levya announced the Golden Globe nominees Monday, and Jerrod Carmichael will host the show on Jan. 10.
