In a tragic incident, two people lost their lives after a large rock fell from a under-construction building in Mumbai’s Worli on Tuesday. The incident took place at around 9:40 pm.
Several cars parked near the hotel were also damaged in the incident. After getting the information police and 108 ambulance rushed to the spot.
Initially, two people were injured in the incident. However, later they succumbed to their injuries. The deceased have been identified as Shabbir and Imran.
“The two deceased are labourers and were working in the housing society opposite Four Seasons Residency. On Tuesday, after having their dinner they had come to the spot to drink tea when the incident took place,” Senior police inspector Anil Koli of Worli police station said as quoted by The Indian Express.
