There are 11 days left until Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara will have its U.S. premieres, where the first reviews of the film will be out. Let’s take a look at where it stands right now.
Devara has hit $1.75 million in pre-sales (as of 5 PM EST on Monday), faster than any other Indian movie. In the U.S., every dollar is transparently recorded, making it easier to identify such milestones.

Surprisingly, Devara is ahead of recent major films like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD in terms of pre-sales with 11 days to go before the premieres.
11 days before the premieres, Kalki 2898 AD has pre-sales of $1.41 million, while Salaar has $662K in pre-sales.

Devara has yet to open full-fledged bookings in theater chains like AMC and Regal. Once these bookings open fully, sales are expected to see a significant boost.
By the time the first premiere happens, Devara will stun the trade with pre-sales, but what is crucial is continuing the momentum post-premiere day, most importantly after the first weekend, which largely depends on the talk of the film. It’s all on Koratala now.
