Telugu Desam Party has been strengthening itself from the grassroots after coming back to power in Andhra Pradesh. There is unanimous support for the party in various areas across the state.
Recently, TDP created a record by enrolling around 73 lakh members into the party through its membership drive. 54% of the total enrolled members are new members.

Meanwhile, TDP has now set up another new record in Paritala Ravi’s native village, Venkatapuram. All voters in this village joined TDP, creating a new record.
There are a total of 581 registered voters in Venkatapuram. 11 of them have passed away. Each one of the remaining 570 voters took the TDP membership and showed their unanimous support to the TDP and the Paritala family.

Expressing her happiness regarding the same, Rapthadu MLA and Paritala Ravi’s wife, Paritala Sunitha, said that Venkatapuram is the first village to achieve this feat in the united Anantapur district since the formation of the Telugu Desam Party in 1983.
